Getting started

DejaBars finds historical price segments whose shape matches a pattern you draw. This page

takes you from an empty canvas to your first report.

1. Create an account

Open https://dejabars.com and sign up with a username, an email address and a password. You must be at

least 18; registration asks you to confirm it. A phone number is optional and only used

to contact you about your account.

Every free account receives a weekly token allowance, so you can search straight away.

2. Open the search page

The workspace lives at /search. You will see:

• the canvas in the middle, where the pattern is drawn,
• the panel at the bottom with tabs: Presets, My patterns, Recent, Settings and Results,
• the search bar with the timeframe, the algorithm and the search button.

3. Load a pattern

Three ways, all from the bottom panel:

1. Presets — ready-made shapes (head and shoulders, triangles, flags, and more). Click one and

it loads on the canvas, scaled to the drawing area.

1. My patterns — patterns you saved, including those created automatically as you edit.
2. Recent — the last patterns you opened on this device.

You can also generate a pattern from a description or by uploading a chart image with the AI

pattern generator.

4. Choose what to scan

In the Settings tab:

• Timeframe — from 1 minute to 1 week. Short timeframes cost more tokens.
• Algorithm — start with Geo; it is the cheapest and the free tier includes it.
• Tolerance — how close a match must be. Higher tolerance finds more, weaker matches.
• Period — how far back to scan. 30 days is the free-tier limit.

5. Run the search

Press Search. You can watch progress on the canvas area. Searching hundreds of coins over a

long period takes a while, and during a busy period your search may wait in the queue.

You do not have to keep the page open — the search runs on our servers. Come back later to see it

in your history, and see Search notifications if you want to be told

when it is done.

6. Open the results

When matches arrive, the Results tab lists them with their distance and score. Select a coin

to see the matching segments drawn on its price chart. From a result you can open the full report,

which collects every coin's best match and can be shared with a link.
