Getting started
What is DejaBars?
A search engine for chart patterns. You draw a price shape, choose a market and timeframe, and the
Service finds historical segments across the tracked coins whose shape is most similar.
Do I need an account?
You can try a search without one, but an account keeps your patterns, history and reports, and
gives you the free weekly token allowance.
Is there a minimum age?
Yes — 18. We do not provide the Service to anyone under 18.
Tokens and plans
What is a token?
The unit a search costs. Cheap searches on short periods cost a few tokens; long scans over a year
of data cost more.
What do I get for free?
Every free account receives a weekly token allowance that resets each week. It is enough to try
real searches.
What does a subscription add?
A larger weekly allowance and access to the larger scans, billed through Paddle as the merchant of
record. Current plans and prices are on the pricing page.
What happens if a search fails?
The tokens are refunded to your balance automatically.
Searching
What is the difference between DTW and Geo?
DTW compares the shape of the whole price curve, allowing for speed differences. Geo simplifies
both curves into angles, ratios and turning points and compares those features. DTW is stricter
about overall shape; Geo tolerates more variation in scale and timing.
Why does a long search take so long and sometimes stop early?
A year-plus scan across every tracked coin is heavy. Searches are queued and run one at a time per
account. Each search has a time limit; if it is reached, you receive the matches found so far,
marked as partial.
Do I have to keep the page open?
No. The search runs on our servers. You can leave, come back, and watch progress or open the
report — and if you tick "notify me when done" we send a browser notification.
Can I generate a pattern from a description or a picture?
Yes. Describe the shape in words, or upload a chart image. Text and images are processed by Google
Gemini; see the Privacy Policy.
Does it predict prices?
No. It shows similar historical shapes. See the Disclaimer before acting on
anything you see.
Billing and refunds
How do I cancel?
From your billing page, at any time, with no questions asked. Access continues to the end of the
paid period.
Can I get a refund?
If you cancel right after being charged, open a support ticket within the current billing period —
it is approved automatically and the current month is refunded in full. Details in the
Who charges my card?
Paddle.com Market Ltd, acting as merchant of record. Paddle issues your invoice and handles
payment support.
Account and data
How do I delete my account?
From your account page. Your personal data is deleted or anonymised; see the
Do you sell my data?
No. Data goes only to the processors listed in the Privacy Policy.
Do you send emails?
Service emails (verification, password reset, invites, support replies) are always sent. Product
news and announcements are only sent if you opt in, and every newsletter has a one-click
unsubscribe link.
Teams and API
How do teams work?
Share a pattern to a team and every member can use it. Roles decide who can edit, invite and
manage the team.
Is there an API?
Yes. Create an API key in your account and use the REST API or the MCP integration for automated
workflows, within the documented rate limits.
Something is broken.
Email [email protected] with the pattern and timeframe you used; if it concerns a search, include
the report link.
