This page explains how the cost is calculated, what you get for\nfree, and how plans and top-ups work.\n\n## How a search is priced\n\n```\ncost = timeframe factor × algorithm factor × period factor\n```\n\n- **Timeframe** — 1 week, 4 hour, 1 hour and 1 day cost 1; 15 minute costs 2; 5 minute 3; 1 minute 4.\n- **Algorithm** — Geo costs 1; DTW 2; SAX, Matrix Profile and Cross-Correlation 3; WDTW, ERP and\n  LCSS 6. See [Search modes](/docs/search-modes).\n- **Period** — 1 day costs 1, 7 days 2, and longer windows cost more; scans over a year are the\n  most expensive.\n\nThe search form shows the cost before you run it, and tokens are charged when the search runs. If\na paid search fails on our side, the tokens are returned to your balance automatically.\n\n## What is free\n\nSearches that combine a free timeframe (1h, 4h, 1d, 1w), the **Geo** algorithm and a period of up\nto 30 days cost **0 tokens**. On top of that, every account receives a **weekly token allowance**,\nwhich resets each week — spend it on the bigger scans whenever you like.\n\n## Plans\n\nAll plans grant the same features; they differ only in the weekly token allowance:\n\n| Plan | Weekly tokens |\n|---|---|\n| Starter | 37 |\n| Pro | 237 |\n| Advanced | 777 |\n\nPrices are shown on the pricing page in your local currency. Billing runs through **Paddle**, the\nmerchant of record: Paddle charges your card, issues the invoice and handles payment support.\n\n## Top-up packs\n\nIf you do not want a subscription, one-off packs add tokens to your balance:\n\n| Pack | Tokens |\n|---|---|\n| Small | 18 |\n| Medium | 100 |\n| Large | 500 |\n\nTop-up tokens never expire and are spent in addition to your weekly allowance.\n\n## Managing your plan\n\n- **Billing page** — current plan, weekly allowance, next renewal date and invoice history.\n- **Cancel** — any time, no questions asked; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period.\n- **Refund** — if you cancel right after a charge, open a ticket within the current period and the\n  current month is refunded in full.
