What a match actually is\n\nA match means two price sequences have a similar shape according to a distance measure (DTW, a\nderivative variant, or geometric features). It does not mean the same thing will happen again.\nSimilar shapes are common in noisy data, and a match today can be followed by any outcome.\n\n## 3. Statistics shown in results\n\nResults may show distance, a direction, a match count and a historical win-rate figure. These are\ncomputed from past data over a limited sample and are **descriptive, not predictive**. A high\nhistorical figure is not a probability, is not a promise, and does not account for fees, spread,\nslippage, liquidity or your own execution. Do not treat any of these numbers as a forecast.\n\n## 4. Market data\n\nMarket data comes from third-party sources. It may be delayed, incomplete, corrected after the\nfact, or unavailable.
